Greetings AC Members!

The time has come for AC to evolve and grow. It began as a forum for Jades-World, meant to be a holder of poetry and art - mostly by Jade herself, and a place for friends to come and chat. It was built as a hobby but grew to become more than that.

After a while, AC became too big for Jades-World. When we looked at it we realised it didnt fit in with Jades-World anymore, it was its own forum and it needed to break away to continue to grow... so we decided to move it to its own domain. This would allow AC's success to continue to grow, and it to become more than just a forum for Jades-World. Members greeted the move with skepticism and caution, some with worry...

But they need not worry, for AC lived on, on its own domain, proudly displaying its banner and living up its independence. But no one realised it took a little bit of Jades-World with it. Just like people, AC will always take a little bit of its past with it. And so if you look to the banner, which has been under your nose for months, you may notice a piece of "Jades-World" hidden within the wisps of Alundra's Conundrum. Or will you? It's not the only piece, but it's the most obvious yet elusive piece there.

 

AC has evolved so many times now, and each evolution is greeted with a little fear and apprehension. It's normal to be afraid, and even I, its creator, have felt the same way...yet I feel excited too. AC has become a home for me more than I ever anticipated, and I know it has for some of you too. AC has become a refuge, a home, a family, and a place to kick back and relax with a bunch of crazy people just like you!

AC will continue to be all of those things, but hopefully with this evolution AC can grow to become those things for more people. AC will be changing its name, moving to bluer skies, and learning new tricks to woo the ladies (or fellas, since AC was voted to be a gender confused woman). Along the way AC will be learning what's most important in life ;).

The initial announcement regarding this is below in case anyone missed it :).

This has probably been a long time coming. For those who are here to read this, you will have noticed our usual 300 posts a day is more like 3 posts a day if you're lucky. I think the AC is pretty much dead. I had hope for it back in November but it appears that the struggle has just been too much...so I'm taking it into emergency surgery.

I plan to close AC down soon and relaunch it. In that period of time I will be changing:
- The name
- The design
- The features
- The hierarchy of members
- The logo (probably only a little)
- Probably stuff I havent listed here

1) The name will probably still contain AC in it. At this point I have a few names in mind, only one has AC in it though. If you have any suggestions for names they're MORE than welcome!

2) The design is going to totally change. It will still have its AC quirks and colour, but I'm doubting it will be called kinky style. I'm not sure if it will stay black or not, but I'm thinking it would be nice to go to a black, white, and gold design.

3) Features will change, like the arcade. I plan to keep the arcade but I want to make it bigger. I will also be putting in a lot of features, so you have some new toys to look forward to.

4) By hierarchy of members I mean how much power/say and access each member has. Currently, Admins have all the say and members have none. This is going to change completely. I want to come back more community oriented, where members have more say.

5) The logo will probably change a little, but I plan to keep the basics: 1 eye bigger than the other, grinning, and tongue out.

When we close we will probably close anywhere up to a week while I sort things out. When we come back I plan to get some advertising for us so that we can attract some members. I want you all to know that while I plan on doing this, I do want to keep the ACs feel and family. I love you all, and hopefully with the relaunch we can get some new members who will post like maniacs so we can too :D.

If any of you would like to donate to our advertising fund, I would greatly appreciate that. If we have donator privileges in the future site, your love will be carried over :).
